Wiper Switch Test

Unplug wiper switch. Measure resistance between specified switch terminals. See WIPER SWITCH TEST table. See Fig 1. If resistance is less than 5 ohms between each terminal pair, wiper switch is okay. If resistance is 5 ohms or more between any terminal pair, replace wiper switch.

NOTE: Wiper switch internal connections are such that INT position cannot be tested with an ohmmeter. If wiper motor and wiring are okay, but INT function does not operate, replace wiper switch.

HI Blue & Red
LO Blue & Blue/White
MIST Blue & Red
WASH Blue & Blue/Orange
OFF Blue/Yellow & Blue/White
