- Control To Motor Wire Check
- Unplug mirror switch connector. Unplug inoperative mirror motor connector. Measure resistance of indicated wires between mirror switch connector and inoperative mirror motor connector. See OUTSIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR CIRCUIT TEST
table. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace outside rear view mirror assembly. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open wire(s).OUTSIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR CIRCUIT TEST
Wire Color At Control Connector Wire Color At Motor Connector Left Mirror Brown Brown Brown/Yellow Brown/Yellow Light Green Light Green Right Mirror Brown Brown Brown/Black Brown/Black Light Green/Black Light Green/Black - Ground Check - Measure resistance between each wire at mirror motor connector and ground. If resistance is greater than 10,000 ohms, replace outside rear view mirror assembly. If resistance is 10,000 ohms or less, repair wire(s) in question.
