A/C-Heater Control Switch

- Remove control panel. See A/C-HEATER CONTROL PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. With A/C-heater switch connector disconnected, use self-powered test light or ohmmeter to test switch condition.
- To test blower circuit No. 1 position, connect self-powered test light between Blue/Yellow wire terminal and Black wire terminal. With blower switch in No. 1 position, continuity should be present. Continuity should not be present with blower switch in any other position. Replace switch if it does not test correctly.
- To test blower circuit No. 2 position, connect self-powered test light between Blue wire terminal and Black wire terminal. With blower switch in No. 2 position, continuity should be present. Continuity should not be present with blower switch in any other position. Replace switch if it does not test correctly.
- To test blower circuit No. 3 position, connect self-powered test light between Blue/Red wire terminal and Black wire terminal. With blower switch in No. 3 position, continuity should be present. Continuity should not be present with blower switch in any other position. Replace switch if it does not test correctly.
- To test blower circuit No. 4 position, connect self-powered test light between Blue/White wire terminal and Black wire terminal. With blower switch in No. 4 position, continuity should be present. Continuity should not be present with blower switch in any other position. Replace switch if it does not test correctly.
- To test blower on signal circuit, connect self-powered test light between Orange/Blue wire terminal and Black wire terminal. With blower switch in No. 1, 2, 3 or 4 position, continuity should be present. Replace switch if it does not test correctly.
- To test A/C switch circuit, connect self-powered test light between Blue/Yellow and Red/Yellow wire terminals. With A/C switch on, continuity should be present. Replace switch if it does not test correctly.
