Dash panel doors and floor/defrost door are in full defrost position. All incoming air is directed to defroster outlets with some air bled to floor ducts. The blend door modulates temperature in this mode, but maximum heat can be obtained by moving temperature lever to highest temperature position. The A/C compressor operates to dehumidify air and reduce windshield fogging if ambient air temperature is 50°F (10°C).
