A/C Cycling Switch (ACCS)

Ensure ambient temperature is above 50°F (10°C). Connect manifold gauge set, and ensure A/C system is fully charged. Remove connector from A/C cycling switch. Using DVOM, check continuity between switch terminals. When suction pressure is more than 40-47 psi (2.8-3.3 kg/cm2 ), continuity should exist. Connect jumper wire across switch harness connector terminals. When suction pressure is less than 22-28 psi (1.5-2.0 kg/cm2 ), continuity should not exist. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified.
