Temperature Control Lock-Out Valve & Switch Assembly

NOTE: Temperature control lock-out valve and switch assembly may also be referred to as Cold Engine Lock-Out (CELO) switch.

With engine coolant temperature less than 120°F (49°C), remove connector from switch. Connect ohmmeter to switch terminals. Continuity should exist. Run engine until coolant temperature exceeds 120°F (40°C). Continuity should not exist. Replace assembly if continuity is not as specified.
