Fuel Rails: Installation

However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. When installing fuel rail assembly, use new "O" rings. Push fuel rail down to ensure all injector "O" rings are fully seated in fuel rail cups and intake manifold.
  2. Install fuel rail bolts. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.


Position new "O" rings onto fuel injectors. Lightly lubricate "O" rings with clean engine oil. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Ensure injectors are properly seated. Tighten fuel rail bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
