Test G: Set/ACCL Switch Is Inoperative

  1. Check SET/ACCL Switch Operation  - Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect cruise control servo harness connector. Measure resistance between pins No. 5 (White wire) and No. 6 (Black wire) at cruise control servo harness connector while pressing cruise control SET/ACCL switch. See Figure . If resistance is 646-714 ohms, replace cruise control servo. If resistance is not 646-714 ohms, go to next step.
  2. Check Command Switch Return Circuit  - Measure resistance between pins No. 6 (Black wire) and No. 10 (Black/White wire) at cruise control servo harness connector. If resistance is greater than one ohm, replace cruise control actuator switch. Restore vehicle and recheck system operation. If resistance is less than one ohm, repair short in circuit 31 (Black wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
