Tachometer Test
- Inspect tachometer fuse. Replace fuse as necessary. Ensure wiring connections in engine compartment and at rear of instrument cluster are secure. Ensure battery voltage exists at tachometer terminal of instrument cluster connector when ignition switch is on. See appropriate diagram under WIRING DIAGRAMS.
- Verify that resistance of ground circuit is one ohm or less. Verify that resistance is one ohm or less in wiring to ignition coil or ignition module. If wiring is okay, replace tachometer.
