CMP3 - Ground At Distributor

- Key OFF.

- Disconnect the 6-pin distributor connector.

- Measure the resistance of the GND wire between the distributor harness connector and ground.

- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes -- Go to CMP4. CMP4 - Check CMP Wire For Open

No -- Service the distributor GND wire.
