Master Switch
CAUTION:
The following test are performed with lockout switch closed (non-lockout position)
- Remove master switch from vehicle. Test using self-powered test light or ohmmeter. Replace window control switch if continuity is not as specified in testing. With switch in neutral position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17 and 18 and between 19 and 20. See Fig 1 .
- Right Front Circuit: With master switch in right front UP position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2, 8, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17 and 18, and between 9, 19, and 20. With switch in right front DOWN position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 17, and 18, and between 11, 19 and 20.
- Right Rear Circuit: With master switch in right rear UP position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 17, and 18, and between 16, 19 and 20. With switch in right rear DOWN position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, and 17, and between 18, 19 and 20.
- Left Rear Circuit: With master switch in left rear UP position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18, and between 15, 19 and 20. With switch in left rear DOWN position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, and 18, and between 17, 19 and 20.
- Left Front Circuit: With master switch in left front UP position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17 and 18, and between 8, 19 and 20. With switch in left front DOWN position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2, 8, 9, 11, 15, 16, 17 and 18, and between 10, 19 and 20.
