Spark Plug: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove ignition wires from spark plugs.
2. Loosen spark plugs 1/4 turn and, using compressed air, remove any dirt or foreign material from spark plug areas of cylinder head.
3. Remove spark plugs.






4. Check and adjust spark plugs.

NOTE: Refer to the Spark Plug Inspection Chart to determine the condition of the spark plugs.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
2. Tighten spark plugs to 9-20 Nm (7-15 ft lb).
