Ignition Control Module: Service and Repair

CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If the module is exposed to these charges, damage may result. If removal or service of the module is required, make sure to follow the electronic module service precautions to avoid damage to components. Service Precautions

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Ignition Module:





2. Disconnect the Ignition Control Module (ICM) electrical connector.
3. Remove the nuts and screws from the ICM.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Check for proper operation.
