Diagnostic Trouble Code Access

Use New Generation Star (NGS) Tool (49 T088 0A0) to retrieve diagnostic trouble codes from OBD-II system. Connect NGS tool to data link connector 2. See Fig 1 . Refer to operation manual for proper operation of NGS tool. A generic scan tool may also be used to retrieve diagnostic trouble codes. Ensure generic scan tool is certified OBD-II standard.
