Main Heater System: Notes

Outside air enters system through front cowling, below windshield. When function control knob is in FLR position, vent/heat door directs airflow into passenger floor outlets.
In VENT mode, vent/heat door directs airflow to instrument panel outlets. In MIX (floor/defrost) mode, airflow is divided between floor and defrost outlets by heat/defrost door. In defrost mode, most airflow is directed to defrost outlets and a small portion of airflow is bled to floor and instrument panel outlets.
