SAFING Sensor: Removal

Safing sensor is located behind console, near throttle pedal. Before proceeding, see SERVICE PRECAUTIONS . Disable SRS. See procedures under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Remove screw, push pin, and left console front finish panel. Disconnect safing sensor connector. Remove mounting bolts, sensor and bracket. See Figure .
