Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect Throttle Position (TP) sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove two set screws and lift sensor from throttle body.

INSTALLATION

Throttle Position Sensor:

1. Open the throttle slightly to align the tab A and tab B of the TP sensor to the throttle body.
2. Align the mounting holes and install the sensor.
3. Check that tab A and tab B are properly aligned. Adjust the TP sensor. Adjustments
4. Tighten the set screws to 2.0 Nm (18 lb in).
5. Connect the battery ground cable.
