Continuous Test

  1. Connect tester, or connect jumper wire to retrieve codes. See RETRIEVING CODES  . If using Super STAR II tester, set controls so that speaker is on.
  2. Tap, move, and wiggle suspected sensor or harness, working in short sections from sensor to instrument cluster, and to ABS control module. Drive vehicle, if necessary. If any codes set, repair only the codes set during this test.
  3. If no code sets, operation is normal. Turn off ignition. Inspect all wiring and connectors for faulty crimps, splices, corrosion, or improperly seated terminals. Repair as necessary.
