Rear Switch

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect rear wiper/washer switch 3-pin connector. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check resistance between switch connector terminal No. 3 and specified terminals. See REAR WIPER SWITCH TEST TABLE. See Fig 1 .
  2. If resistance is less than 5 ohms between terminal No. 3 and specified terminal, wiper switch is okay. If resistance is 5 ohms or more between terminal No. 3 and specified terminal, replace wiper/washer switch.
