Diagnostic Trouble Codes: Notes

During QUICK TEST, 3 types of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are retrieved and diagnosis must be performed in the following order: Key On Engine Off (KOEO), Key On Engine Running (KOER) and Continuous Memory DTCs. See QUICK TEST for self-test procedures. DTCs may be cleared from PCM memory after DTCs have been recorded or fault has been repaired. See CLEARING CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If fault is still present after clearing DTCs, fault will reset.
