Retrieving Codes

NOTE:
A New Generation Star (NGS) tester is required for testing the power memory mirror system.
Before beginning any trouble shooting or testing, retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from Driver Door Module (DDM) and Driver Seat Module (DSM). See ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST in MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article. If any DTC's are present, see DTC TEST INDEX. Any DTC beginning with the letter "U", originated from another module. See MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article. If no DTCs exist or symptoms remain after performing DTC TEST, go to appropriate symptom test in SYSTEM TEST INDEX .
