  1. Ensure Wiper Control Module (WCM) and wiper motor connectors are firmly seated. Repair as necessary and retest system. If no problem is found, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect wiper motor connector. Turn wiper switch off. Measure resistance between Black/Pink wire and Dark Blue/Orange wire at wiper motor wiring harness connector. Also, measure resistance between Yellow/Red wire and Red wire at wiper motor wiring harness connector. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace wiper motor and retest system.
  3. Disconnect WCM connector. Measure resistance of Black/Pink wire, Dark Blue/Orange wire, Yellow/Red wire and Red wire between WCM and wiper motor connectors. If resistance in all wires is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in appropriate wire(s) and retest system.
  4. Ensure wiper switch is off. Measure resistance between Orange wire and Brown/White wire at WCM wiring harness connector. If resistance is not 45,000-50,000 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 45,000-50,000 ohms, replace WCM and retest system.
  5. Disconnect multifunction switch 7-pin connector. Ensure wiper switch is off. Measure resistance between Brown/White wire and Orange wire at multifunction switch. If resistance is 45,000-50,000 ohms, repair open in Brown/White wire or Orange wire. If resistance is not 45,000-50,000 ohms, replace multifunction switch and retest system.
