Electronically Coded Ignition Key

When ignition switch is moved from ACC position to RUN position with electronically coded ignition key, the passive anti-theft receiver antenna at the ignition lock cylinder energizes the electronically coded ignition key. When electronically coded ignition key is energized, passive anti-theft receiver antenna receives a signal from the ignition key and transfers the signal to the Steering Column/Ignition/Lighting (SCIL) module.
