Output Test

  1. Enter vehicle, latch driver's seat belt and close door. Press and hold rear window defogger switch. Turn ignition on. Release rear window defogger switch.
  2. Move wiper switch to intermittent position, one detent up from OFF position. Press, then release defroster switch to activate outputs. After outputs have been verified, press, then release defroster switch again to deactivate outputs.
  3. If outputs do not activate as specified, replace CTM and retest system. Outputs will be activated in following order.
    • Intermittent windshield wiper operates.
    • Rear window defogger indicator illuminates.
    • Interior lights activate briefly.
    • Seat belt indicator illuminates.
