Front Wipers Inoperative At Low Speed

  1. Test wiper/washer switch. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTING. Replace switch as necessary. If switch is okay, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect wiper motor connector. Turn ignition on. Set wiper switch for low speed operation (position 1). Measure voltage between ground and wiper motor harness connector terminal No. 4 (Blue/White wire). See Figure .
  3. If battery voltage is present, replace wiper motor. If battery voltage is not present, repair open in Blue/White wire between wiper motor and wiper switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
