CMP Synchronizer: Removal
- Set engine so cylinder No. 1 is at TDC on compression stroke. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect CMP sensor electrical connector. Note position of electrical connector for reassembly reference. Remove 2 screws and CMP sensor.
- Place reference marks on camshaft synchronizer housing and engine. Remove synchronizer hold-down bolt and clamp. Remove camshaft synchronizer.
