Removal & Installation

  1. CKP sensor is located on front cover near crankshaft pulley. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove serpentine drive belt (if necessary). Raise and support vehicle. Remove splash shields as necessary to access sensor. Disconnect wiring from sensor.
  2. Remove sensor bolt and sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten sensor bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Evacuate and recharge A/C system.
