AUTOLOCK Feature

An autolock feature requires the following: ignition switch to be in RUN position, autolock feature enabled, doors closed, transmission selector in Reverse and stoplight switch released. At this point, doors will be power locked. Relock will occur when ignition switch is in RUN (engine off), a door is opened then closed, and brake pedal is depressed. Door may not automatically lock if driver shifts transmission into gear without applying brake, shifts into gear quickly after starting engine, or releases brake pedal before a door is closed.
