Radiator Assembly: Radiator: Removal

    All Vehicles 

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  2. Raise vehicle and drain the cooling system.
  3. Disconnect the fan resistor electrical connector.

  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connectors.

  6. Disconnect the ground cable.

  7. Vehicles With Air Conditioning 

  8. Disconnect the air conditioning (A/C) electrical connector.

  9. All Vehicles 

  10. Disconnect the radiator upper hose.

  11. Vehicles With Air Conditioning 

  12. Disconnect the A/C low pressure switch electrical connector.

  13. All Vehicles 

  14. Disconnect the radiator overflow hose.
  15. Unclip the cooling fan and fan resistor cables.

  16. Vehicles Fitted With Automatic Transaxle 

  17. Disconnect the transaxle upper cooling line.

  18. All Vehicles 

  19. Raise and support the vehicle.
  20. Disconnect the radiator lower hose.

  21. Vehicles Fitted With Automatic Transaxle 

  22. Disconnect the transaxle lower cooling line.

  23. Unclip the transaxle oil cooler line from the bracket.
  24. Vehicles With Air Conditioning 

  25. Secure the A/C condenser.

  26. Remove the A/C condenser bolts. Remove the two bolts.

  27. All Vehicles 

  28. Position a jack to support the radiator and cooling fan.
  29. Remove the radiator lower support brackets.
  30. Remove the radiator and cooling fan. Remove the four bolts. Remove the radiator.
