Electronic Crash Sensor (ECS) Module: Notes

WARNING: Improper ECS orientation may cause air bag system malfunction. Personal injury may result. ECS module orientation is critical for proper air bag system operation. If ECS module mounting and bracket have been damaged, ECS module must be replaced even if air bags have not deployed. ECS module mounting area must be restored to original condition, if damaged. Replace or repair any other damaged air bag system components or wiring that are adjacent to ECS.
CAUTION: Static electricity can damage ECS internal components. ECS malfunction may result. Ensure ECS is protected from static electrical charges.
