Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor: Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to the JACKING AND LIFTING .
- Disconnect the front driveshaft from the transfer case.
- Disconnect the front driveshaft from the front differential.
- Remove the front driveshaft from the vehicle.
- Remove the shift cable and bracket.
- Disconnect the intermediate shaft speed (ISS) sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the ISS sensor.
- Remove the ISS sensor screw.
- Remove the ISS sensor from the transmission.
- Inspect the ISS sensor O-ring for damage. If damaged, install a new O-ring.
