SYMPTOM CHART

Loss of coolant	Radiator. Coolant pump seal. Radiator hoses. Heater hoses. Heater core. Engine gaskets. Radiator degas bottle.	GO to PINPOINT TEST A .
The engine overheats	Thermostat. Coolant pump. Internal engine coolant leak. Radiator. Radiator airflow obstruction. Fan/fan clutch. Pressure relief cap. Airlock in the system. Coolant condition/concentration.	GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
The engine does not reach normal operating temperature	Thermostat.	GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
The block heater does not operate correctly	Block heater power cable. Block heater.	CHECK continuity in all 3 power cable circuits. If any circuit tests over 5 ohms, INSTALL a new power cable. INSTALL a new block heater. REFER to BLOCK HEATER .
