Removal and Installation

- Recover the A/C refrigerant. For additional information, refer to CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
- Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
- Remove the cooling fan. For additional information, refer to COOLING FAN .
- Release the clamp and disconnect the upper degas bottle hose from the radiator.
- Release the hose and disconnect the radiator hose from the radiator.
- Remove the nut and disconnect the A/C manifold tube from the LH side of the condenser.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- Remove the nut and disconnect the A/C manifold tube from the RH side of the condenser.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- Release the clamp and disconnect the lower radiator hose.
- Release the clamp and disconnect the lower degas bottle hose from the radiator.
- Remove the bolts and the lower fan shroud.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
- Release the clamps and disconnect the transmission cooler hoses.
- Remove the bolts and the cooling module.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
