Component testing procedure

MASTER WINDOW ADJUST SWITCH - COMPONENT TESTING

Circuit to test Connect self-powered test light or ohmmeter to terminals Move switch to these positions A good switch will indicate
Power and Ground Checks Before Any Other Tests  C504b, 5, and C504a, 3 All Eight Window Switches (at rest) Closed circuit
C504b, 5, and C504a, 4
C504b, 5, and C504a, 8
C504b, 5, and C504a, 1
C504b, 5, and C504a, 2
C504b, 5, and C504a, 7
C504b, 5, and C504a, 5
C504b, 5, and C504a, 6
Left front window circuit  C504b, 8 and C504a, 6 Up Closed circuit
C504b, 8 and C504a, 5 Down Closed circuit
Right front window circuit  C504b, 8 and C504a, 8 Down Closed circuit
C504b, 8 and C504a, 7 Up Closed circuit
Left rear window circuit  C504b, 8 and C504a, 1 Down Closed circuit
C504b, 8 and C504a, 2 Up Closed circuit
Right rear window circuit  C504b, 8 and C504a, 4 Down Closed circuit
C504b, 8 and C504a, 3 Up Closed circuit
Window lockout  C504b, 8 and C504b, 7 Lock Open circuit
Unlock Closed circuit
