Removal and Installation

NOTE:
This procedure applies to Fusion/Milan with Sony® sound and MKZ with THX® sound only. For all other amplifiers, refer to the appropriate procedure(s).
- Upload the audio DSP
module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to PROGRAMMABLE MODULE INSTALLATION (PMI)
.NOTE: Module configuration is required when a new audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module is being installed.
- Remove the 4 pushpins and the RH luggage compartment trim panel.
- Disconnect the audio DSP module electrical connectors.
- Remove the 3 bolts and the audio DSP
module.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Download the configuration information to the audio DSP module. For additional information, refer to PMI in MODULE CONFIGURATION .
