Symptom Chart - Adjustable Pedals With Memory Feature

  • No communication with the driver seat module (DSM)
  • Fuse
  • Wiring, terminals or connectors

  • Adjustable brake pedal does not operate correctly - using the adjustable pedal switch
  • Fuse
  • Wiring, terminals or connectors
  • Adjustable pedal switch
  • Adjustable pedal motor
  • DSM
  • Adjustable brake pedal does not operate correctly - using the memory SET switch
  • Fuse
  • Wiring, terminals or connectors
  • Memory SET switch
  • Adjustable pedal motor
  • DSM
  • If the seats and mirrors are also inoperative using the memory SET switch, REFER to SEATING article to diagnose the memory seats and REAR VIEW MIRRORS article to diagnose the memory mirrors.
  • If only the adjustable pedals are inoperative using the memory SET switch, go to Pinpoint Test C .
  • Adjustable brake pedal does not operate correctly - using the remote transmitter
  • Fuse
  • Wiring, terminals or connectors
  • Remote transmitter
  • Adjustable pedal motor
  • DSM
  • VERIFY the remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitter is operating correctly and is associated to a memory position. REFER to Memory Position Programming in SEATING article or the Owner's Literature for information on associating a RKE transmitter. For a RKE transmitter function concern, REFER to HANDLES, LOCKS, LATCHES AND ENTRY SYSTEMS article. Preform the DSM self-test and REFER to DRIVER SEAT MODULE (DSM) DTC INDEX  to diagnose any DTCs retrieved. If no DTCs are retrieved, go to Pinpoint Test C .
