Generic Electronic Module/Central Timer Module: Notes

CAUTION:
Disconnect negative battery cable before disconnecting generic electronic module/central timer module (GEM/CTM) connectors. Failure to do so will result in GEM/CTM storing erroneous codes and may also result in erratic operation after connection of GEM/CTM.
CAUTION:
If replacing GEM/CTM, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to New Generation STAR (NGS) tester. After installation this information needs to be downloaded into new GEM/CTM.
