Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Disconnect intermediate shaft speed sensor electrical connector.

  3. Remove intermediate shaft speed sensor.
    1. Remove the intermediate shaft speed sensor screw.
    2. Remove the intermediate shaft speed sensor from the transmission.
      • Inspect the intermediate shaft speed sensor O-ring for damage. If damaged, install a new O-ring.
