The Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) system is a cycling-clutch system which uses a fixed orifice tube to meter flow of refrigerant. The system includes a self-diagnostic feature that stores fault codes when problems occurs. On vehicles equipped with an auxiliary A/C-heater system, auxiliary unit is located inside right rear quarter panel.
