The Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) module has 3 main features: temperature control, airflow control, and blower motor control. See Figure. System can operate in full automatic mode or it can be manually operated. Press AUTOMATIC button to operate system in full automatic mode. Press A/C button to manually operate system. An auxiliary blower control lever provides rear (auxiliary) blower motor speed control.
