Low-Intermediate One-Way Clutch: Assembly

    NOTE: Before installing, clean and inspect the low-intermediate one-way clutch rollers and cage for cracks, brinelling, or scoring. Install new components if necessary.

  1. Install the low-intermediate one-way clutch roller and cage. Rotate counterclockwise to lock in place.
  2. Clean and inspect the rear sun gear assembly.
    1. Inspect the bushing.
    2. Inspect the inner race.
    3. Inspect the bearing.

  3. NOTE: The outer splined race should rotate counterclockwise and hold clockwise.
  4. Install the low-intermediate one-way clutch outer race.
