A/C System Performance: Notes

NOTE:
When ambient temperatures exceed 100°F (38°C), do not run engine above normal idle speed.
Connect manifold gauge set to service valves. Adjust climate control for maximum cooling by starting engine. Select MAX A/C operation. Set blower motor speed to maximum. Stabilize in-vehicle temperature at 70-80°F (21-27°C). Maintain engine speed at 1500 RPM. Use recorded value and Fig 1 to determine malfunction.
