Preliminary Checks

Before diagnosing problems in ignition system, ensure following systems and components are in good condition and operating properly:
- Battery.
- Timing belt or chain.
- Fuel delivery and injection system.
- All wiring and vacuum connections.
- Air cleaner and ducts.
- Cooling system.
