(1) Using scan tool, retrieve and document all continuous DTCs. Perform ABS control module self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, replace ABS control module.
(2) Repair ABS concern. See appropriate ANTI-LOCK article in BRAKES.
(3) Caused by PCM. Using scan tool, perform PCM self-test and repair powertrain control concern. See appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.

(1) Using scan tool, clear and document continuous DTCs. Perform ACM self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, replace ACM.
(2) Verify no tape is in tape deck. Using scan tool, clear and document continuous DTCs. Perform ACM self-test. If DTC B2401 is retrieved again, repair or replace ACM as necessary.
(3) Repair audio system fault.
(4) DTC does not apply to this vehicle.

(1) Perform diagnostic procedure for DTC B1322. See DIAGNOSTIC TESTS in PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS - CROWN VICTORIA & GRAND MARQUIS article.
(2) Using scan tool, retrieve and document all continuous DTCs. Perform DDM self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, replace DDM.
(3) Perform TEST F: SMART LOCK FEATURE DOES NOT OPERATE PROPERLY OR INOPERATIVE. See POWER DOOR LOCKS & REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEMS - CROWN VICTORIA & GRAND MARQUIS article.
(4) See appropriate wiring diagram in POWER DOOR LOCKS & REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEMS - CROWN VICTORIA & GRAND MARQUIS article.
(5) See POWER DOOR LOCKS & REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEMS - CROWN VICTORIA & GRAND MARQUIS article.
(6) Diagnose brake pedal input circuit. See appropriate wiring diagram in EXTERIOR LIGHTS article.
(7) Perform TEST D: DRIVER'S WINDOW IS INOPERATIVE under SYSTEM TESTS in POWER WINDOWS - CROWN VICTORIA & GRAND MARQUIS article.

(2) Using scan tool, retrieve and document all continuous DTCs. Perform ECS module self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, replace ECS module.

(3) Check charging system. See appropriate GENERATORS & REGULATORS article in STARTING & CHARGING SYSTEMS. If charging system is okay, check power and ground circuits to LCM. See POWER DISTRIBUTION article in WIRING DIAGRAMS.
(4) Repair appropriate circuit. See appropriate wiring diagrams in appropriate POWER DOOR LOCKS & REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEMS and ILLUMINATION/INTERIOR LIGHTS articles.
(5) Repair appropriate circuit. See WARNING SYSTEMS article.
(6) Using scan tool, retrieve and document all continuous DTCs. Perform LCM self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, replace LCM.
(7) See REAR WINDOW DEFOGGERS - CROWN VICTORIA & GRAND MARQUIS article.
(8) See STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES - CROWN VICTORIA & GRAND MARQUIS article.
(9) See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article.
(10) Repair Red/Light Blue wire between LCM and DDM. See appropriate wiring diagram in POWER DOOR LOCKS & REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEMS - CROWN VICTORIA & GRAND MARQUIS article. If wire is okay, replace LCM.
