Test C: Driver's Door Module Does Not Respond To Scan Tool

  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect DDM harness connector C518. Inspect harness connector for loose, damaged or corroded terminals. If problem does not exist, go to next step. If problem exists, repair as necessary and retest system.
  2. Measure resistance in Light Blue/White wire between terminal No. 1 at DDM harness connector C518 and terminal No. 7 at DLC. See Figure and Fig 1 . If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace DDM.
  3. Disconnect in-line harness connector C211. See Figure . Inspect harness connector for loose, damaged or corroded terminals. If problem does not exist, go to next step. If problem exists, repair as necessary and retest system.
  4. Measure resistance in Light Blue/White wire between terminal No. 4 at male half of harness connector C211 and terminal No. 7 at DLC. See Figure and Fig 2 . If resistance is 5 ohms or less, repair open in Light Blue/White wire between harness connector C211 and DDM. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Light Blue/White wire between harness connector C211 and DLC.
