Test C: Single Mirror Does Not Function With Switch Logic

Disconnect malfunctioning mirror harness connector. Measure voltage or resistance at appropriate mirror harness connector terminal with mirror control switch in position specified. See MIRROR CONTROL CIRCUIT table. See Figure . If voltage and resistance readings are not as specified, go to next step. If voltage and resistance readings are as specified, replace appropriate mirror motor.

Test mirror control switch. See MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. If mirror control switch is defective, replace mirror control switch. If mirror control switch is okay, repair appropriate circuit(s) between mirror control switch and appropriate mirror.
