Intake Manifold Assembly: Assembly

Position a new lower intake manifold gasket and the upper intake manifold on the lower intake manifold and loosely install the bolts.

Tighten the bolts in 2 stages, using the sequence shown.
- Stage 1: Tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).
- Stage 2: Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

NOTE: Lubricate the new O-ring seals with clean engine oil prior to installation.

Install new O-ring seals on each of the fuel injectors.
Assemble the fuel injectors onto the fuel rail and install the locking clips.
Install the fuel rail and fuel injector assembly onto the intake manifold.
Install the 4 fuel rail bolts.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
Install the 2 fuel rail pressure and temperature sensor support bracket bolts.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
