The trailer brake control (TBC) module receives information through the controller area network (CAN) circuits 1908 (WH) and 1909 (BK). These inputs are from the powertrain control module (PCM), instrument cluster and the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module. The information sent out from the TBC module is through the CAN and is displayed on the instrument cluster message center. The TBC module receives fused battery power from central junction box (CJB) fuses 101 (30A) and 28 (10A) along circuits 50 (RD) and 298 (VT/OG), respectively. The ground path for the TBC is along circuit 206 (WH).
