CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES

CAUTION:
Disconnect battery before disconnecting Generic Electronic Module (GEM). Failure to do so will result in GEM storing erroneous codes and may also result in erratic operation of GEM after reconnecting connector.
NOTE:
Complete entire system test related to the symptom before installing GEM.
