Remote Keyless Entry Systems: Programming: Keypad

To enable or disable autolock using keypad, enter 5-digit permanent entry code into keypad. Within 5 seconds, press and hold 7/8 button. Within 5 seconds, press 3/4 button while still holding 7/8 button down. Within 5 seconds, release 7/8 button only. Horn will chirp once if autolock feature has been disabled. Horn will chirp (short) once and then a second longer chirp following to indicate autolock feature has been enabled.

To enable or disable autolock using ignition switch, close all doors. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Within 30 seconds, perform the following:

1. Turn ignition switch from OFF to RUN position.
2. Press power door lock UNLOCK button 3 times.
3. Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
4. Press power door lock UNLOCK button 3 times
5. Turn ignition switch to RUN position.

RAP module should chirp horn once to signal enable/disable mode. Press power door lock UNLOCK button once. Horn will chirp once to indicate autolock has been disabled. If horn sounds one short chirp followed by a second longer chirp, autolock has been enabled. Turn ignition OFF to exit enable/disable mode.
